My ol’ pal Rose McGowan came in to Salami Studios to record as the voice of Coco for Dr. Lollipop! Rose was quite the FOXY raccoon!

Director/showrunner Aliki T. Grafft is in the house, going over X-sheets for Kelly’s “Doctor Lollipop” short.
X-sheets are sheets that are essentially instructions on how the animation should be shot.

Here are some fun panels I ran into that were dumped from our special “Summer Belongs to You” from Phineas and Ferb. Some of them made me giggle so I thought I’d share :)
Jeremy is on the phone with Candace, who gets jealous of the Parisan waitress she can hear over the phone.
Mom was squishing Candace’s face saying “Yes honey, YOU. ARE. IN. CHARGE”, then later Candace squishes mom’s face back “Just like you said, I. AM. IN. CHARGE”.
There was a whole scene where Phineas gives a big speech and music starts playing and a flag drops behind him.
Isabella asks Phineas “What’s he doing?” and Phineas replies “Shhh…do not disturb The Ferb”.
Friday, April 19th there will be a special guest on Phineas and Ferb! ”It’s internet sensation, Parry Gripp!” The episode is written and storyboarded by myself, and John Mathot, and features an awesome song by Parry, John, and Me.

Recording’s a Wrap
We were well happy last week as Kelly could make it down to L.A. for at least the first of two recording sessions for her upcoming short. Here she is, center, at Salami Studios with Travis Willingham (Doctor Woodsman), showrunner/voice director Aliki T. Grafft, Chris Diamantopoulos (Doctor Lollipop), and Dee Bradley Baker (Mr Rawr). Thanks, everyone. Now, on to the animatic.

I have uploaded a buncha old school pencil animation tests from my days at Disney Feature Animation (as well as a little production stuff from Treasure Planet, and a walk cycle from my Frederator short). My mentors on the tests were Brian Ferguson, Eric Goldberg, and John Ripa.
