Here are some recent Napkin Doodles for my kids’ lunch boxes.

Can anyone name this episode? I had so much fun writing and boarding this scene!

Some time ago I sketched out a pencil drawing for Billy Corgan, scanned it in Photoshop, and colored it digitally.  The other day I stumbled upon the sketch and decided to ink it and color it with some good ol’ Copics.  Although the digital version is a fun, cartoony take,  I like the texture of the paper and markers.

The Smashing Pumpkins are a fantastic band..if you youngins don’t know their music, go check it out!  I think there is a lot of great music out there currently, if you dig for it.  But I always find myself going back to SP.

At the Getty Center today in the kids insect-drawing booth, I just couldn’t help but get in on the fun.

Q. Are there any upcoming episodes of Phineas and Ferb storyboarded by you?

There are three more specials coming that I co-storyboarded and co-wrote on. Currently I am working on a yet-to-be-announced production. Stay tuned!

Q. Hello Aliki! Sorry for annoy you, but I'm a student who wants to work as a designer for the Disney factory. And sincerely, I don't know exactly what to study, so I thought you could help me telling me what you have studied. Thanks in any case. ^^

Go to art school.
Take writing classes.
Draw all the time.
Find a mentor.
Get the book, “The Illusion of Life”.
Study artists who inspire you.
Throw all your drive and passion into your dream with full abandon.
Repeat.

Today I went to Life Drawing at Disney TVA. It had been a while. These are 2-3 minute poses. The model was very thin and I had fun playing with proportions. Don’t be afraid to make a drawing your own!

I have accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge..well…at least Phineas did. (Don’t worry, we donated some money too).

(This drawing was just for fun and is not representative of the Walt Disney Company. I was happy though, to participate in their matching program when I made my personal donation)

As promised (finally) here are some board panels from my short, "Eau De Minnie", which is part of the new Mickey Shorts series.  Enjoy!

Q. Hi Aliki! Now that you're no longer working on Phineas & Ferb (Sob! Sob!) I wanted to ask you what your favorite episode of the show is all-time? Whether you worked on it or not.

I’d have to say it’s a tie between “Mom’s Birthday” and “I, Brobot”. “Mom’s” was the first episode I ever wrote and boarded & “I, Bro” was the first one to air. It was a very special and magical time—we knew we were creating something wonderful.

I’m happy people liked the Disney Jr nod :)  Originally for the “too much” idea, I had her in Belle’s gown, but we decided to change it, as Belle appeared in “The Adorable Couple”.

Trying on outfits. Eau de Minnie (2014)

There are some really fun gifs going around from this short.  I’m getting a great kick out of seeing them!  I’m so glad people liked this gag!

Minnie Mouse puts on her classic little black top for a date with Mickey in “Eau De Minnie” (2014)

This proves that Minnie has *not* been going topless all these years!

If you haven’t checked it out yet, here is Minnie starring in her very first short for the new “Micky Shorts” show.  It’s called "Eau de Minnie"!  I co-wrote and storyboarded the episode and am so proud of how it turned out! I hope you like it too!

I’ll post some drawings from the storyboard soon :)

The first “MINNIE” Mouse short has aired! I had a lot of fun drawing some of the stank scenes.~ Check it out!

It's Cool

by Aliki and John

Here is the song demo from Mandace that did not make it into the episode.  John Mathot and I wrote it, used a sample hip hop beat, and (embarrassingly) sang the lyrics…but I hope you get a kick out of hearing it regardless! We had fun!

My last regular episode of Season 4 of Phineas and Ferb aired this morning.  It’s called "Mandace"!  Candace is hit by one of Doofenshmirtz’s “inator” rays and is turned into a boy!  Will she get the inside scoop on what boys REALLY talk about when girls aren’t around?

Hopefully you will catch another showing of it if you didn’t already..in the meantime, here are a few board panels from the episode! It was written and storyboarded by John Mathot, and me.
